Next week I will start working on a project to recreate a "Norman Rockwell Christmas." I am very excited to work on this project! Christmas of 2010 at the North Carolina Museum of Art I viewed a Norman Rockwell Exhibition. I was enchanted by Rockwell's artistic ability and seeing the texture of the paint he applied to canvas was an experience I will never forget. The prints of his work are wonderful but seeing the paintings added a whole new dimension that is unseen in the prints.
I have a feeling that this is going to be a fun challenge and not to mention it is going to be a magazine cover for December 2011. More details and photos to come so stay tuned!

Hi, Amy! The Kodak moments captured in Norman Rockwell art comfort, soothe, warm our hearts and make us feel right at home. Today, in the 21st century, I am wondering if the America portrayed in his work ever really existed and, if so, how can we get it back? I'm thinking that people like you are part of the solution.
