A Small Achievement

I planted okra in my garden this year and it is growing beautifully. This is the first veggie I have ever planted as a seed, raised and eaten. This small achievement has made me very pleased. It's the little things that bring joy... happy gardening to all!

  1. I have a vegetable garden as well as a containerized cactus and succulent collection. You're right, Amy. The rewards of growing things are many.

  4. We are in the Northwest and we love our vegetable garden. Sadly, it doesn't get hot enough to grow okra. My Texan husband misses okra and home grown tomatoes more than all other vegetables. I'm glad you are having success and enjoying the fruits of your labor.

    Kindly, Dana
