  1. These are all so pretty! My great grandmother left behind a settee very much like the one in the 3rd picture. I am all for seeing the potential in things, but her's is a WRECK. Missing a leg, the bottom is falling out...it needs way more work than I know how to do. So I've decided whenever I have the space for one of these I'll be getting a new one. I love that green one in the 8th picture!

  2. So pretty if you have the right place for it.
Some look very comfortable, others not-so-much.They conjure up a whole other way of living in a generation long gone. :-)

  3. Hi Brooke!

I am right with you on getting one when I have the space. I would love to have one in the foyer of my home or in the bedroom at the foot of the bed. There are so many styles and options.

    Hi Sweet Tea!

They really do make you think about the days when settees were more popular. I see using a settee in a location where one would only sit for a short period of time, now we have large sofas and love seats where one sits for hours. Things have really change through the generations.

  4. love! I am on the hunt for a client for a settee for a foyer right now; they are so elegant... and perfect for a book and a cup of something hot.
